What started in 1869, as a carpentry workshop in the heart of the Netherlands, is now, in 2007, a successful group of companies with activities in numerous European countries and worldwide. Royal BAM Group NV is active in the Construction and property, Civil engineering, Public-private partnerships, Mechanical and electrical contracting and Consultancy and engineering sectors. In addition, BAM has an interest in a dredging company that operates worldwide.

With around 30,000 employees, BAM is responsible for the implementation of many hundreds of projects every year. Some are spectacular (due to their size or technical complexity), but many others are more modest construction contracts. Although BAM is a large company, we will consider construction projects irrespective of size. Our regional network gives us the flexibility to get close to our customers and deal with local schemes. Interbeton BV – civil engineering worldwide
Royal BAM Group undertakes projects outside Europe under the flag of operating company Interbeton. Interbeton employs over 4,000 people and has more than 30 projects in progress around the world. Most of these are marine design-and-construct or non-residential construction projects. Interbeton has four subsidiaries, which are active in the countries where the operating company continually wins contracts: Higgs & Hill Dubai, PT Decorient Indonesia, Interbeton bv Libya Branch and Interbeton bv Ghana Accra Office.

Tebodin BV – consulting and engineering worldwide
Tebodin Consultants & Engineers is an independent multidisciplinary consultancy and engineering firm that operates worldwide. Tebodin has approximately 50 offices throughout Western, Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East and China. The company has a staff of around 2,600. The widely spread office network is important for providing optimal assistance not only to single-country clients, but also to global clients operating internationally in several countries.
